Bringing functional sports nutrition to delicious dehydrated adventure meals.
A Step Above the Rest.
At Adventure Provisions, we believe you shouldn’t have to compromise on taste to accommodate your diet, and more importantly, how you eat shouldn’t force you to compromise your nutrition. We’re making healthy, affordable options for everyone, and making sure they taste better than any of our competitors. Each of our meals goes through a blind taste test against our competitor’s similar meals, and we tweak our recipe until we have a winner.

First Choice for Adventure Sports Nutrition
How you eat affects how you perform. In the outdoors, peak performance is key. That’s why we put careful thought and intention into each ingredient we use to make our meals. We consider things like satiety, muscle recovery, and cognitive function in creating our recipes. Where other brands leave you full, Adventure Provisions leaves you FUELED.

Our Origin Story
While preparing to hike the Tahoe Rim Trail as a vegan athlete, I was disappointed in the quality of backpacking food available to vegans like myself. Online forums told me that many backpackers opted for calorie dense foods like candy bars, or ramen (easy to prepare and high in salt) or combos like oreos and peanut butter (a vegan favorite) but I was worried about the effects on athletic performance while hiking 15 miles a day. In true entrepreneurial spirit I tackled the problem myself, and with the help of my grandmother and her countertop dehydrator, we created four dehydrated vegan meals for my trip. The meals were delicious, healthy, inexpensive to make and kept me fueled on the trail. I thought about how many other backpackers, mountain bikers and climbers had the same problem, and the obvious need for massive improvement in a niche and growing industry turned into a business idea: Adventure Provisions. I started cooking meals from the kitchen of my university student housing apartment, and working to make my dreams come true one day at a time.
